Events in Moena Val di Fassa

WORD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2013  from 19 of February to 3rd March 2013

The strong vocation for skiing, typical of Val di Fiemme, thrives on the almost forty year experience of the Marcialonga race and on the prestige coming from having hosted two Nordic ski world championships. The Lago di Tesero Cross-Country Ski Centre, on the bring of hosting for the third time the World championship in 2013, offers skiers the thrill of skiing with the classical and skating technique on the 18 km of perfectly groomed pistes. From this ring it is possible to directly join the Marcialonga piste. The use of the pistes is for free, by day and by night too, when twice a week the rings are lit up during the night.
The centre offers showers and changing rooms and equipment rental. Nearby there is the outdoor ice stadium that offers ice skate rental service.
